Constant tummyaches.. Hate it.

Hate it when I'm feeling better for awhile after I went to the toilet, and then it acts up again. Urgh. Was planning to go gym or run with ShanqKuen and/or ChuanDe today. But I guess I gotta call it off. Sorry dudes.

So yesterday I've been out to do MA project with Caroline, HuiWen, SeenYee and Sheery at City Hall. I reached the earliest, so I took the chance to go to HMV to play FIFA10 on PS3. I don't know if it was me who didn't play soccer games for a period of time, or was it the graphics of PS3 games that amazed me. I TOTALLY ENJOYED PLAYING IT AND IT'S TEMPTING ME TO BUY PS3 AGAIN.

But I would still wait till next year and see if I have the time to play it or not. Heh.

Anyway, I'm really glad that my MA group has been super efficient. I haven't had such an efficient and nice project meeting for a long long time. We can even afford to have jokes in between. Nice feeling.

Project meeting ended like less than three hours? xD Accompanied gf for dinner at Just Acia. I ordered a korean dish - spicy chicken rice or something like that. Korean chilli is hot! I need two cups of drinks for that dish. Luckily there's free flow of drinks there. Haha.

& when I reached home, I finished up the curry chicken dish that my mum has cooked. Lols. I know the consequences the next day but heck! It's simply too delicious for Mr Greedy to resist it. :P

Now my tummy is feeling better already. Thank god.

So I went to the gym today with ShanqKuen.

He has been a great help to me during the past few months. Giving me tips, encouragement and the ways of how to build up my body. Although I only managed to build up my biceps, triceps and shoulders a lil, it's all thanks to him that I can do this far. Thanks dude. :)

Today is the first time I went to the gym in YCK in a weekday. & wow, so many muscular men! :/ Normally during the weekends there will be quite a number of poly and JC students playing around in the gym, or training a lil. But during the weekdays it's usually the more hardcore ones who hit that place. Oh man, I felt kinda inferior, cos I was like the skinniest one there training. :/

Anyway, holidays has been mundane, but it was kinda relaxing. Haha. But the thing is mum confiscated my psp as she says I need to revise my studies more during the holidays due to my bad results last semester. Urgh. Now my holidays lack one 'major activity'. Sigh.

ChunHian told me today that he bought the PC version of PES2010 and keep complimenting it to me. It certainly sounds like PS3 version of the game. & he said that he would try to burn the disc for me if possible. Shiokness! If he successfully burns it for me, what's left for me to do is to buy a PC game controller which cost only around 30 plus bucks. & I would have a new game for this holidays! :D

So that's all folks. Till then..

Upon typing this post, I have much anger to unveil as a hardcore football person.

Slovenia 1 Russia 0 (Aggregate 2-2, Slovenia win on away goals rule)

I am so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so dissapointed.

I'm so anticipated to see Russia playing in South Africa next year because I feel that it is a very exciting team with youths blossoming and their pace, passing and finish have improved a lot over the past few years when Guus Hiddink took charge of the team.

But one thing still remains very shaky - their central defence.

Seriously, Sergei Ignashevitch and Vasili Berezutsky were sleeping! What were they doing which lead to that fateful goal!

They are good defenders but their focus has always been a major concern - at both club and international level.

Their sloppy defending led to a goal which they could have easily avoided if their man marking was better.

The Soviets' attacking play has been draggy during that match too. They couldn't finish off valuable chances. & they paid the ultimate price.

I have actually asked Kugan to buy Russia's 2010 World Cup jersey for me with 'ARSHAVIN 10' printed at the back for me before the match. But now my hopes died.

Ukraine 0 Greece 1 (Aggregate 0-1)

Another one of the teams that I liked which have failed to reach the World Cup.

Both teams played well with equal chances. But a superb pass from Georgios Samaras and a cool finish by Dimitris Salpigidis sealed the Greek's path to South Africa.

I wouldn't whine much about this one. I was hoping Greece could repeat what they have done in Euro 2004 - at least securing a quarter-final place. That would be great for Greek football.

But I would miss Andriy Shevchenko.

Bosnia-Herzegovina 0 Portugal 1 (Aggregate 0-2)

Many people said that Portugal's performance is below par. Well I would like to think so too during the group stages of the qualifier.

But I can see that their form has picked up during the two legs againist Bosnia and they can actually cope decently without Cristiano Ronaldo. That's a pretty good sign.

& maybe I would like to praise Nani. He is superb during that match, giving precise passes and a couple of good strikes. One of his finest performance which I have seen so far and I hope he can bring that form to Manchester United as well.

Bosnia had a good game too. But their finishings were poor. So here goes their chances.

I don't know why but I got a feeling that Portugal is gonna go far in South Africa - at least quarter-finals.

France 1 Ireland 1 (Aggregate 2-1, after extra time)

France sucks! France is nothing without Zinedine Zidane.

Their performance for these four years have been far below par from what they were in World Cup 2006 in Germany. No teamwork, no efforts by individuals or whatsoever. Just scrap up some crap and with lady luck on their side to secure a place in South Africa is not something worth celebrating.

& I'm sure the French people will agree to that too.

A deflected goal by Nicholas Anelka in the first leg and a second goal in the second leg in courtesy of Thierry Henry's handball. Tata. They are in.

Lucky, and unlucky.

Ireland is the team who showed real threat throughout the two legs. & I'm definitely frustrated at the referee's decision for allowing that handball to continue which lead to a.. worthless goal. (I have something to say about the professionalism of referees nowadays too. I will post this another day.)

People said that although France won out of pure luck, many would like to see a European giant in South Africa rather than the underdogs. I think such comments are bullshits and such people use their butts to think instead of their brains.

How could they prefer a lifeless team to advance rather than a team with passion? That is real stupidity.

& I have to question Raymond Domenech's professionalism as the coach of France. How the hell is he still there after so many setbacks for French football at the international level under his guidance? He should be sacked long ago.

I don't think the Les Blues will go far in the World Cup if they continue their woeful performances. They may escape the qualification but never in the competition.

Germans have reacted with shock and disbelief after national team 'keeper Robert Enke's apparent suicide at a train crossing near Hannover on Tuesday night. The national team have called off training as tributes to the goalkeeper flood in.

According to Lower Saxony police the 32-year-old Hannover 96 'keeper was hit by a train at a crossing early on Tuesday evening and left a suicide note. Fellow players, coaches and fans have been stunned by the news of his death.

Fans flocked to Hannover's Niedersachsen Stadion where they were laying flowers and lighting candles at the gates in memory of their captain who had dedicated himself to the club since joining in 2004.

Hundreds of fans also gathered to light candles outside the Hannover 96 offices after learning of Enke's death. Hannover fan Florian Walter told Reuters Television outside the club offices: "This is a shock. He was an exceptional footballer. He was intelligent, educated, was very engaged with social projects in Hannover."

Germany have cancelled Wednesday's training session ahead of a friendly match against Chile in Cologne, and a statement from the German FA (DFB) read: ''The Germany national team's training planned for this morning has been called off. All interview appointments are cancelled;'' while German national team manager Oliver Bierhoff said the team were in a state of shock. "We are just all speechless," he said.

Schalke 04 striker Kevin Kuranyi said: "This can and must not be true. Robert was a fantastic guy" and Hamburg SV captain David Jarolim told Bild newspaper he was devastated. "I can hardly breathe. This is a real tragedy, first his daughter and then this."

Enke's two-year-old daughter died in 2006 due to a heart ailment, her death triggering an outpouring of sympathy for the family at the time.

"I am endlessly saddened by this," former Germany coach Franz Beckenbauer said. "When you receive such news all other things do not matter."

Enke, who was in the running to be Germany's starting goalkeeper at next year's World Cup in South Africa, had been at Hannover since 2004.

"This is terrible. I am not able at the moment to express myself in more detail," said Hannover 96 sports director Joerg Schmadtke, while chairman Martin Kind said: "I don't know why and how this happened. All I can say for sure is that it had nothing to do with football."

Tenerife, for whom Enke played on loan as a youngster, also paid tribute to their former player. "Tenerife want to convey their condolences and sympathy following the recent death of the German goalkeeper Robert Enke, who played for the team during the 2003-04 season," the club said on its website. "Tenerife will have a minute's silence in the next game against Sevilla at the estadio Helidoro Rodriguez Lopez and will wear black armbands.''

I can't believe this. I am totally shocked by this piece of news when I checked soccernet this morning. Now one of Germany's best goalkeepers, so young, has passed away.

It was a total tragedy. How can people in football not be grieved by that fact?

Met ShanqKuen at Chong Pang for lunch. The food there was yumyum man! :D & off we went to YCK gym after that.

Well he gave me more tips on how to train my body. Cos I can't seem to find the right way to do it. Thanks dude. I will try even harder from now. :)

Bugis Iluma next. Went to watch Jennifer's body which was a crap movie. It was a movie basically just for showing off Megan Fox's assets. But it's all worth it! :P

Headed to Tian Fu steamboat after that together with dear. & we passed him his birthday present. :)

Seriously fucked up.

No, not cos of Liverpool. They are superb during that match. I'm fucked up against the Devil's performance which is like a toothless tiger.

Nemanja Vidic, Rio Ferdinand, Patrice Evra, Ryan Giggs and Wayne Rooney all had a very poor match, in contrast of Liverpool whose players are on the top of their forms. Liverpool deserved the win.

& I wanna take a rifle and shoot Andre Marriner on the head. He's been fucking bias throughout that match. Penalty not awarded against United for a foul on Michael Carrick, red card not given for Jamie Carragher who is the last defender for a foul from the back on Michael Owen. Javier Mascherano should be sent off long ago and the referee took 70+ minutes to award him only a yellow card and only sent him off during second half stoppage time.

Just wtf is he doing! Chun Hian and me are swearing him throughout the whole match. Just simply fucked up with his decisions.

But I'm sure Man U won't be defeated just like that. They have the capabilities to overcome this setback and strive even better. Hopefully this will be a wake up call for them.

He's my bestie cousin ever. Hahaha. We may seldom meet up and catch up on each other only during occasions. But that's enough for our close and strong bonding since we were still kids. :)

Anyway, I'm officially 19 three days ago. Haha. Well I gotta say that this birthday has got to be one of my most memorable ones in my life. :) Thanks a lot to those people who remembered my birthday and wished me via Facebook, MSN, SMS and through other means. I sincerely thank you guys as each of these wishes makes me a step happier. :)

I'm so bored at home.

My days were spent watching drama, playing psp and watching videos. How meaningless.

I guess I had enough rest and is ready for my last semester of Poly.

During school terms when we were rushing for projects, we hoped for holidays to come just tomorrow. Now we (at least me) got bored after just five weeks of holidays. Irony, isn't it?

Maybe it's because of the life I'm having now. Teaching tuition probably covered my expenses and savings for the month. Thanks to tuition I didn't get so bored during my free time. & at the same time I get to earn quick bucks. :D

But I'm actually an outgoing person and would prefer jobs that allows me to get to know new people and friends.

I did think of switching jobs cos I don't like to teach and I'm really sick and tired of teaching tuition although I know how to handle my students. But when school starts, teaching tuition is the best way to cover my expenses in the shortest time possible.

So, I would just hang on with it for the time being. My life is stagnant.

Anyway, the past few days have been great for me. JB trip with dear and her mum, a couple of dates with dear, going to her house for dinner and receiving gifts from her parents. :)

Tuition has been rather smooth sailing for the past week too! Much to my relief.

See. All these make YiPeng a happy person. :D

Met dear and 'potential mum-in-law' at CWP. Haha. :P Treated them Mac breakfast. :)

Then off we went to Malaysia. Jusco would be our first destination. People out there, if you wanna find cheap and branded goods, Jusco is the place for ya.

The shopping centre is posh and huge. But since we don't really go for branded stuffs we went to shops which sells cheaper clothing. :) Mum-in-law basically didn't buy anything while I only bought a baby pink polo tee. :/ Dear reaped the most stuffs there.

Second destination - City Square. Well I didn't expect them to have such a nice shopping experience there. There's this Innercity at a corner which sells nice simple clothes at affordable prices. We basically spent most of our time in City Square there. We reaped like three times more clothes than Jusco? Haha.

Treated them dinner at Kim Gary. Tell you guys what. Don't ever eat Kim Gary in Singapore. A hot plate set in SG costs about S$17.00 while that of Malaysia cost about RM19.00. What a variance.

Walked around a bit more after dinner and then back to SG. So glad to have such an enjoyable outing with them. :)

Heya.

The past few days have been pretty peaceful. Not many happenings. But I like it. :)

Well I just managed to find the contact of one of my primary school friends. Ong XiaNing. :)

She's in Canada for slightly around more than a year. Heard from her that she's staying there forever. It's good to have a nice catch up via msn after so many years since primary school graduation. :) She has studied accounting for a semester in Richmond Green High School.

After chatting with her, I realise that Singapore is such a great place to be in. Bubbletea cost 3 plus Canadian dollars without tax and pearls. Crap.

Anyway I sincerely hope that she can do well in her studies and life. She's one of my best friends in Primary 6. :)

On another note, my bestie should be doing well in Moscow right now. His first semester of Russian State Medical University starts on the 1st of October. Hopefully he has found the interest of his future job and maintain his passion for it.

Gotta go for tuition soon. Watching Rubin Kazan vs Inter Milan and Arsenal vs Olympiacos Piraeus tonight! & I'm going JB with gf tomorrow! :D

Blow no. 1

Due to my carelessness in AFA, I failed to get an A grade for an accounting module for the first time. & my carelessness occurred in the simplest of the syllabus - Business Combination. Karma.

Blow no. 2

I don't know how the hell did I get a B for CF. I got a B+ from my CAs. & I'm actually quite confident of at least getting a B+ overall. So what has exactly happened, I don't even know that myself.

Blow no. 3

I know my theory modules always suck. No matter how hard I try, the result is still the same. But it's always such modules that contain high GPA and that sucked my ass hard, seriously. C for CLAW? Fuck that module.

Blow no. 4

My target of achieving a 3.7 cumulative GPA, has become unattainable now. I was so close to getting it and was aiming for it when my cumulative GPA was 3.684 last semester. I was so close to it, and now it's all dashed. It dropped a significant 0.062 to 3.622. Great huh.

Blow no. 5

This is the deciding semester for my university admission, and I screwed it up. Normally local universities require the results from the first five semesters for reference. My first four has been not bad, but the fifth one just pulled everything down. So here goes my major chances.

Conclusion

I don't deserve to get this fucking shit. I studied so hard for the exams. I give it my all. I studied through days and nights. I have the confidence. I have the ability. & this is what I get? Fuck off god.

Saturday 19 September

Went to Expo to fetch dear from work. This time, the mini food fair had already ended, and I was lazy to join the slow and long queue of the John Little fair. Hence I didn't buy anything. :)

We initially agreed to go to Changi Airport to have Popeyes for dinner, but dear suddenly changed her mind and said she wanna go AMK's Sumo House. I was thinking, 'Strange, why would she travel all the way from Expo to AMK and then back to Eunos again?' But I didn't think much about it anyway.

& this is a really pleasant surprise that she came up for my birthday in advance:

I can't believe that she bought such an expensive gift for me. This is my first real soccer jersey of my favourite soccer team in my life. As for the story leading to such a surprise, I shall keep it to just the both of us. :)

darren fletcher, celebrating the first of his two goals of the match

I wore the Man U jersey, and I was delighted wearing it on. & even more proud of my all time favourite soccer team at the end of the match.

I've said before that Darren Fletcher will be a significant figure in United and his two goals and many sublime passing in this match just proved it. The pleasant surprise though, was his goals were all headers.

Ryan Giggs played like a 24 year old on that match instead of 34. You should look at his passing, vision, pace and dribbling skills. Brilliant.

Michael Owen, the super sub, will be an increasingly influential figure in United's squad. Watch him.

The match itself was a pulsating one though. Ben Foster simply sucks and is totally unpredictable. At a moment, he can make a world class save and at another moment, he can make a 'world class blunder'. I'm seriously hoping for Edwin Van der Sar to return from injury asap and Tomasz Kuszczak to replace him as second choice goalkeeper.

Rio Ferdinand has been experiencing a drop in form too. His performance in the past two matches (against Tottenham and Manchester City) has been poor. He made mistakes which a player of his quality shouldn't have made and he must improve on that.

On another note, Carlos Tevez, Gareth Barry, Shay Given, Kolo Toure and Craig Bellamy has played well for Manchester City in the derby match. But technically speaking, out of the three goals that they have scored, two came from United's mistakes.

So all in all, they are still a class below Manchester United and Chelsea, but may be on par with Liverpool and Arsenal.

Fetched dear from Expo again. Haha.

We headed to Tian Fu steamboat, somewhere along Tanjong Katong road, with Jasper and Charles.

Initially I thought that it will be awkward to have dinner with dear and her friends as I'm not very close to them. But I don't know why we actually clicked quite well. Haha.

The food was good too! One of the nicer buffets/steamboats that I've eaten. $22 per head. Normally it's between $15 to $20 per head. But since today's a public holiday it's a lil more expensive. No matter what it is certainly worth a try. :)

Thanks dear for inviting me to the dinner. It's a truly enjoyable meal. :)

Yesterday when I was going downstairs to have lunch, I was craving for my favourite white carrot cake (chai tao kueh).

But when I reached the stall, I told the auntie "Auntie, I want one char kway teow, white de."

I looked at the cook and wonder why is he cooking noodles when I was ordering carrot cake?

Five minutes later, the auntie told me "Here's your white char kway teow." Then I realised. -.-

Since char kway teow is supposed to add soy sauce to it to make it fragrant, the white one actually taste kinda bland, and there are.. lotsa beansprouts added. :/

Anyway, had been catching the starting of UEFA Champions League for the past two days and I have to say it was a very disappointing start.

Quite a number of goals but not a very competitive European game.

Besiktas 0 Manchester United 1

The only goal came from a rebound. Lame.

Wolfsburg 3 CSKA Moscow 1

I initially wanted to watch the Man U match but the match isn't supported by the Sopcast, so I can't get to watch it and instead watch this.. German vs Russian giants. & you know what? This match was a boring shit. I watched till 30 mins, still 0-0. So I decided to go and sleep since it's really boring. The next morning when I check the news, Grafite scored at the 36th and 41st minute. Zzzzzz.

Marseille 1 AC Milan 2

This match is not bad, but I chose to watch the stupid match mentioned above. -.- Anyway AC Milan won deservedly, credits to super pippo! :D

Zurich 2 Real Madrid 5

This is one hell of a match. Every football fanatics should have watched this for the whole 90 minutes. Firstly Real Madrid 3-0 up. Then Zurich fought back two goals to reduce the deficit to only one goal. & in the final few moments Real Madrid added two more goals. The two Cristiano Ronaldo free kicks were nicely taken. Splendid match. But I missed it. :(

Boring.

Inter Milan 0 Barcelona 0

Terribly disappointing.

I was expecting a number of goals from this highly rated match but it turned out otherwise. Both Eto'o and Ibrahimovic seems to be 'afraid' of their previous teammates, as in they were afraid to be condemned by their previous club's fans if they score. Lol. -.-

Henry and Messi were not bad. Their passing has been fluent. But what the hell is Ibra doing? He should be scoring when there's a chance, not passing like how his two other forward teammates did. Henry and Messi's duty is to assist Ibra, while Ibra's duty is to score. What's with the passing here and there when there's a chance to score. -.-

The Catalan giant's attack was good. But they always lacked the finishing touch which makes viewers frustrated. Messi and Alves's clash in front of Inter's goal in the final few minutes when a simple finishing is enough for a goal is even more frustrating. This clearly shows the lack of teamwork in Barca.

Eto'o on the other hand, had been really very quiet. Only Maicon was good for Inter during that match.

Standard Liege 2 Arsenal 3

This is certainly a morale boost for Arsenal. With two consecutive defeats in EPL and a two goals deficit in the first five minutes of the match, the young gunners showed composure and character as they turned the tables around to win the match, giving them the confidence that they needed to go into their next match in EPL.

Should have watched this match. Grr.

Went to Expo to meet gf yesterday after she finish her work.

There are so much things! Food fair and John Little fair is enough for a half day shopping. Bought 500g of Fragrance bak gua for only 10 bucks. :D I may make a trip there again soon. :D

After that went to Bedok interchange food centre to have dinner. & there're two uncles who sang rong shu xia through a mic. LMAO. Their singing were super loud manz. I admire them for their courage, cos they keep singing although a lot of people were staring at them. Lol.

Reached home and watched soccer online. Credits to Chun Hian for introducing me Sopcast. Now I can watch weekly live soccer matches from England, Spain, Italy, Germany or even Russia, for free! :D

Some highlights and views of last night's matches:

Liverpool 4 Burnley 0

Reports said that Liverpool's season is firmly back on track. Is that so?

They merely thrashed a noob team and a big scoreline is actually just expected from a team from the Big 4.

I guess we have to see a few more matches of Liverpool to determine their worth in this season. But for me, I think they still lack the depth of a champion.

Stoke City 1 Chelsea 2

Seriously, I'm betting Chelsea to have a really good season ahead under Carlo Ancelotti.

Although Chelsea rode their luck through their trademark last minute goals, this time from Florent Malouda, they actually deserved to win this match.

Stoke City was great. But Chelsea had the upperhand.

Michael Ballack seems to be adapting well this season. Didier Drogba is now in form. There's no need to be said about the qualities of Petr Cech, John Terry, Frank Lampard, Michael Essien and Nicholas Anelka. They are world class players.

The most important thing is, they have a world class coach to guide them along.

They will be a serious threat to Manchester United's fourth successive Premier League title.

Manchester City 4 Arsenal 2

I've watched the match. Manchester City totally deserved to win.

Reason? Their counterattacks were swift and deadly, and the gunners were slow to respond. Therefore, they were punished.

& Manuel Armunia totally sucks. He can't save anything and his reflexes are poor. Even Carlo Cudicini is better than him. Can't Arsene Wenger bring in at least a decent keeper ? :/

Emmanuel Adebayor is impressive, I have to say. Craig Bellamy was damn fast and his finishing was deadly during that match.

On the other hand, Arsenal surely missed Andrei Arshavin's calmness and skills. The Russian has been a huge impact to the gunners since his arrival from Zenit St. Petersburg (that's of course. he's one of my favourite players :D).

Tottenham 1 Manchester United 3

This has to be the best performance of Manchester United in this season so far.

Tottenham was on fire on the starting phase of the match. Jermaine Defoe's goal after just 50 seconds was excellent, fantastic, marvelous, world class, whatever you could praise it with your best words that you can think of.

But that was just the starting phase. Manchester United got the better of the match.

Patrick Evra was great. The left back silenced Vedran Corluka and Aaron Lennon throughout the match. He has real pace, decent passing and dribbling, and is good on both offensive and defensive sides.

Nemanja Vidic was the key factor why Tottenham didn't get more than one goal. He just keep heading away every ball out of the penalty area. Although he 'assisted' Jermaine Defoe's goal, he is no joking defender. This guy is one of my favourite defenders.

Anderson and Ryan Giggs were in form too. Giggs still has that punch in his free kicks and Anderson's long range shots were no kidding. I reckon Anderson to be a great asset to United in the future. He's only 21.

Paul Scholes also had a decent match, if not for his stupid and reckless tackles which cost him a sending off.

Wayne Rooney has been quiet. But once he speaks, thunder falls. Trust me. United's third goal is a prove of his abilities.

Dimitar Berbatov, on the other hand, had a poor game. He has no speed. He can't survive in EPL. He should go to Germany, in which the clubs play a much more tactical football.

For Spurs, only Jermaine Defoe, Peter Crouch and Jermaine Jenas were good. The rest of the players were shut up by the red devils. :D

Met ShanqKuen at YCK for gym yesterday. Received some tips on how to build up my biceps. & did I say that I can do pull ups using biceps much more easier than using my back muscle? I tried so hard to force myself using my back muscle and in the end I only suffered strains. Is 3/4 pull up considered an achievement? :X

ShanqKuen asked me to try again, using my biceps. I thought using biceps would be tougher. But poof! I did it so swiftly. LOL. So I achieved one pull up. :)

So from now on I'm gonna focus on training my biceps and my 2.4 km stamina. Erhalten Sie es aufrecht! :D

Went to Northpoint to have lunch at Delifrance after gym. Me, as a student, is privileged to have a student meal which only cost $5.90. & ShanqKuen, as a NS man, has to pay $11.90 for his. LOL.

ChuanDe joined us after lunch. Headed to OCC to play pool. Well I feel kinda out cos the two guys were chatting about NS stuffs which I'm not able to understand and participate. But they did try to interact with me by telling me how NS is like and bla bla. :)

Actually yesterday was supposed to be a memorable outing with two more guys. However the male lead was missing in action. Oh well.

Updates!

Sunday 6 September

It's grandma's 80th birthday! :D

Reached grandma's place in Loyang really early to have dong feng for breakfast. Our family tradition. :)

& it was bits of chit chats here and there with my cousins.

Buffet lunch was good! Me, Rey, JunHan and Ben had a serving first. After everyone had their full, we finished up the remains. Hoho. Sinful.

After lunch, I just simply watch TV until dinner. Starhub cable TV rocks (with channel 55 and football channel). Any sponsors? :X

Had our dinner at a ballroom in Singapore Swimming Complex. The place was posh and classy, and the food was not bad. But what matters most is that grandma is happy. :)

& we sang the loudest and heartiest birthday song ever. I love you granny. :)))))

Monday 7 September

Went to Top One with gf. Sang from 12pm to 5.30pm. Mouth was tired. :/

Then we travelled to Bedok to have dinner at Block 85. Gf's intro. The pork porridge and fried oyster were really goooooooood! :D

In the end, we were too full. So walked all the way back to Bedok MRT. Haha.

Overall a nice date. Love you. :)

Went shopping spreeeeeeeeee today! :D

In a summary, I bought,
- a long sleeve buttoned blouse ($39.90) from a shop in Parco,
- a short sleeve buttoned blouse ($32.90) from a shop in Bugis Street,
- a hot pink tee ($9.90) from Ion Uniqlo,
- a pair of straight cut jeans ($69.90), also from Ion Uniqlo,
- a pair of white canvas ($69.90) from Topshop/Topman, and
- a ?????????? ?????? ?????? ???? ($??.??) from ??? ??? ???????? ???????.

:))))))))))

The reason why I buy so many things, is for the preparation of grandma's 80th birthday on Sunday. Mum told me must wear nice nice, which I agree! :D

Met Rey at Parco Junction today. I was 20 minutes late. :X

He suggested Billy Bombers for lunch, cos of 1 for 1. I was a bit shocked at first, cos I don't have a good impression of that restaurant which sells expensive food with mediocre quality. But since it's 1 for 1.. I just went for it.

After the meal, Rey's comments: Never go back there again.

LOL.

Started the shopping and searching of clothes immediately after the meal, cos I gotta leave by 5.30 as I have a lesson to teach later on. Aww. But thank god, we finished everything by 4 plus. LOL.

Split ways after that. He lives in Loyang while me Woodlands. -.- Since I still have some time, I went to ??? ??? to try my luck. & wow! It's one of the last in SG I think. So I just bought it without hesitation. :D Cos the shop in Causeway Point has no stock already. Phew.

Finally.

Seriously, the last paper was a killer, which I believe many would think so too.

Now I wonder, would I get my first C grade? :(

But at least I'm kinda confident with my other papers, so hopefully they can pull my GPA up. :D

Headed to Bugis with Sheery, Caijing, Hendri and Yesheng after exam, to have a nice dinner. :) QQ Noodle House is highly recommended. :D But it's not the place where you can eat till full. :/

Shopped around Bugis Street thereafter. A tinge of freedom. :D

Past year papers and some theory to go, and that will be the end of my MA revision. :)

Since I'm taking a break now, I shall elaborate on this week's soccer topics. :D

EPL: Manchester United 2 Arsenal 1

I don't really know what to say about this one. As a Manchester United fan, I think they deserve to lose. You see Arsenal lead the game first with an superb strike from Andrei Arshavin, only to concede a penalty and an own goal which in turn become United's victory.

Frankly speaking, I'm happy and relieved that United won, but the gunners arguably performed much better. I'm looking forward to an improving display by the Red Devils. Their start to this season has been really shaky.

Oh btw I'm backing Man U to have a close win against Tottenham Hotspurs next weekend. :D

EPL: Bolton 2 Liverpool 3

Seriously, without Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres, Liverpool is no better than any average team in the Premier League.

They surely miss Xabi Alonso's pinpoint cross and set pieces. Even Gerrard's passing is mediocre compared to Xabi's.

Their defence has been a flop too. Only Jamie Carragher and new signing Glen Johnson are doing their jobs well. The others should be given a real smack in their asses and reflect what have they been dreaming during these few matches.

But actually I'm quite happy that their defence is as such. :X

La Liga: Real Madrid 3 Deportivo La Coruna 2

Cristiano Ronaldo doesn't seem to shine in Real. La Liga soccer plays are more tactical rather than speeds and floating balls in EPL.

On the other hand, Kaka and Karim Benzema are settling down quickly. They have adapted to Spanish soccer due to the tactical nature of soccer plays in Italy and France respectively and I'm glad to see that.

I bet Cristiano Ronaldo must have missed Wayne Rooney and Ryan Giggs. Tsk.

Like Kugan, I want Ronaldo to suffer in Real. :D

Serie A: AC Milan 0 Inter Milan 4

Seriously, Leonardo is a joke. He brought humiliation to the Serie A giants. He has a star-studded side yet lost in such a fashion. It's a total disgrace to me, an AC Milan fan. Urgh.

On the other hand, Inter Milan, under Jose Morinho, has been very consistent. Although they have drawn against minnows Bari in their opening match to this season, I believe it will not affect them in the long run. I'm backing them to become the Serie A champion this season again.

Jose Morinho is worth the respect of many. I've been observing him since he was in Porto, then to Chelsea and now Inter. Any team he coached, turned from top fews to champions. He was a masterclass.

As for the Rossioneries, they still have so much to do. & I predict that Leonardo will be sacked even before mid-season. Come on. He is nothing compared to Ancelotti.

Bundesliga: Bayern Munich 3 Vfl Wolfsburg 0

Finally, the first win of the season for the Bundesliga most successful club.

I am delighted. & debutant Arjen Robben from Real Madrid scored two. This is really a plesant surprise and serves as a flying start to his Bayern career.

Actually if you see the players in this squad, you would have thought that they are championship quality. Let me list a few out.

Defence: Demichellis, Lahm, Daniel van Buyten

Midfield: Franck Ribery, Arjen Robben, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Anatoliy Tymoschuk, Mark van Bommel

Forward: Mario Gomez, Miroslav Klose, Ivica Olic, Luca Toni

All of them are quality players, but needs time to gel. Their teamwork was weak last season, which enabled Vfl Wolfsburg to overtake them and became Bundesliga champions while they were second.

I hope Van Gaal can do something about it. But somehow I feel that he isn't the right person for this team. :/

Shevchenko returns to Dynamo Kiev

I'm happy for Sheva to leave Stamford Bridge and England. He is totally not suited for EPL.

Yes, he has lightning pace, good aerial ability and a deadly finish. But all these must be complied with supplies of passes and the way the team plays. In London, he is he, Chelsea is Chelsea. I dare say there is 0% click between both parties.

Even Didier Drogba can do better than him. :X

It's good that he returns to Kiev. He may not be popular and appear much in television anymore but I'm sure he will be happier.

I hated this player once, for leaving AC Milan for Chelsea, and in the end got his retributions. His loan back to AC Milan ain't helping him too.

Ukraine's Kiev is still the place for him.

Heya! So here's my new blog! :D

I know that this is an awful time to start a new blog. But well, who gives a damn. :D

Okay this seems like a match of countries. Real Madrid from Spain, Zinedine Zidane from France and my blog name.. a German name? Haha this is just a temparory blogskin. Will change to better ones when I can find it. Credits to ah pig. :P

On study note, AFA and CF papers are down. So left with MA and CLAW which I'm more relieved studying in. Cos I can most probably get an A in MA, while for CLAW it's 99% no A. LOL. Hopefully can get a B+ or something. :)

Will update more when exams are over. :D So bear with me for awhile. Cos I know this isn't a blasting start to this new blog of mine. :X
